I love to tackle business problems, putting in place robust solutions for the future.
After studying accountancy at the University of Southampton, Sophie trained with Ernst and Young in Birmingham, qualifying as ACA in 1992.
Sophie enjoys walking and reading and is attempting to understand the nuances of bridge.
She gained diverse experience working for Domestic & General at their Wimbledon based insurance company for 18 years. She became responsible for the implementations of accounts packages, purchase to pay packages and banking interfaces. She was also responsible for the training and review of the European and Australian accounting teams ensuring proper accounting systems and processes were in place.
Sophie then worked for several years in a government funded charity and afterwards applied her vast experience to helping SMEs.
On a day-to-day basis, Sophie prepares statutory and management accounts for business owners and managers, and helps them to understand their numbers, so they can make informed business decisions. She also helps our clients to implement best practice for strong financial control and management, and provides training for our clients’ teams to use Xero and QuickBooks.
