Claris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. She has worked in the design industry for more than 20 years. From conceptual ideas to final artwork, she enjoys working in this commercial yet creative industry.
Professional experience
Claris enjoys spending time with her family and friends discovering and exploring new things and places. She loves taking snap shots wherever she goes to capture common things in aesthetic ways.
Claris has worked as Art Director and in Graphic Design manager roles in a diverse range of sectors. Whilst working in advertising agencies and design houses, she participated in various projects covering print ad, packaging design, TVC etc. with clients such as Estée Lauder, Phillips, Motorola and B&Q.
Later, she shifted her career to the retail sector covering gifts and premium products, working in-house for homeware, leisure and toy companies. She was involved in the whole design process, from product development and photo shooting to packaging and graphic design works for retail items which sold in big department stores in the US such as Walmart, Sears and Target. She also took part in booth design and product displays in various trade fairs in Asia and Europe.
Since 2011, Claris has worked with SMEs creating corporate identities, packaging designs and online and printed promotional items across a wide range of sectors including beauty, healthcare and fashion.
